This year, we are excited to welcome our Scholars-in-residence, Isaac and Rabbi Shawna Brynjegard-Bialik. This dynamic duo of an artist and a rabbi will lead us in an immersive, hands-on workshop where we will embark on a transformative journey through the creation of paper midrash – a unique art practice combining contemporary narratives from comic books, movies, and other forms of pop culture to inspire new insights into traditional texts.
No experience necessary – just a willingness to try something different and new!

We are also thrilled to gather for our annual Selichot service, featuring Cantor Hass and our LBT choir, as well as a special communal ritual of changing all our Torah covers from their year-round colors to their High Holy Days white! Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind evening in the Jewish year – we will study and pray, and sing together like never before!
