Please join us for an important Community Conversation —

Prop. 13 Reform: Exploring the Merits and Consequences of California’s Proposed Split Roll Ballot Initiative

We will open with a historical overview of Prop 13’s impact on our California schools and an introduction to the 2020 ballot measure “Schools and Community First” – presented by Chris Hoene, Executive Director of the California Budget Center. We will then hear from LBT members, commercial real estate owners and education advocates, and then open discussion to all attendees for a session of deep listening.

We will start with a Shabbat Afternoon Nosh at 5 pm, and our conversation will begin promptly at 5:30pm. After a respectful discussion of viewpoints and values that is worthy of Shabbat, we will conclude at 7:30 p.m. by celebrating Havdalah together.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
