Try one or try all five fun, hands-on creative stations designed to bring out your inner artist and connect you to LBT and one another.

Gather in community and discover the joy of creating something beautiful with your own hands. Join the LBT Women’s Group for a day of creative crafting and heartfelt community—where hands shape beauty, laughter sparks connection, and the simple act of making becomes a celebration of belonging. Try one or try them all—five fun, hands-on creative stations designed to bring out your inner artist and your sense of togetherness. Dive into a day filled with endless inspiration, all centered around one shared purpose: to make, connect, and celebrate community through art.

Classes Are:

Handmade Light: A Mindful Candle-Making Journey (Sessions 1 and 2)

Roll and shape pure beeswax candles, and decorate each one as a small work of art—adding color, texture, and personal symbols. As the scent of honey fills the air, you’ll be reminded that light is something we can all create—together. A warm, creative experience to connect, unwind, and leave glowing inside and out. Leave with a set of 6 for Shabbat or 43 for Hanukkah.

Sweet Connections: A Cookie Decorating (Session 1 and 2)

This activity is a joyful blend of creativity, togetherness, and sweetness. Participants of all ages—bring your kids after Sunday school —will decorate cookies side by side, adding colorful icing, playful designs, and plenty of heart. It’s not about perfection; it’s about sharing time, laughter, and stories while creating something beautiful (and delicious!) together. Leave with a box of cookies, a full heart, and the sweetest reminder that connection is the most meaningful ingredient of all.

Messages that Matter: A Mixed-Media Card-Making Activity (Sessions 1 and 2)

This uplifting, hands-on activity invites you to slow down, connect, and create from the heart. Using an array of mixed-media materials—colorful papers, paints, stamps, ribbons, and collage elements—you’ll design unique thank-you or holiday cards that carry your personal touch. Leave with handmade cards—and the warm reminder that the messages we craft with care truly matter.

Breathe in Balance: The Art of Essential Oil Blending (Session 2 only)

Awaken your senses and creativity in this hands-on exploration of scent and self-care. In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of blending pure essential oils to craft your own personalized aroma—whether it’s calming, uplifting, or grounding. Guided by intention, you’ll discover how scent can support mood, mindfulness, and wellbeing. Blending becomes an act of creativity and connection, as we share inspiration, favorite fragrances, and the joy of crafting something natural and nurturing to take home.

A Stitch in Time: Make Your Own Bargello Coin Purse (Session 1 only)
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of Bargello embroidery—a vibrant, geometric needlepoint style—and create your very own Bargello coin purse - a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern flair. Whether you're an experienced crafter or just curious to try something new, this guided session will walk you through the basics of Bargello — a beautiful, geometric embroidery technique known for its bold patterns and rich textures. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary!

Please sign up for one or both sessions below. If you sign up for one session and decide to join us for the second, you will be asked to pay for the second session day-of.

To make sure you have time to finish each project, please do not select more than two choices in each session.
